Scientific Proof Gratitude Works

There is scientific evidence showing that gratitude can be a catapult to a successful career, healthier relationships, better health and an all rounded accomplished life!

When you are grateful, you are saying thank you for something that has already happened, at that moment, your entire body changes.

Dr. Robert Emmons is a renowned psychologist who has made some research on gratitude. He is a psychologist and professor at the University of California. In one of his study, he had people writing down what they were genuinely grateful for daily.

Professor Emmons found that happiness is in our genes and added that people who intent gratitude by keeping a gratitude journal or by genuinely being grateful for minor things in their life, would measure an increased happiness of 25%: 'Participants in the gratitude vibration felt more joyful, enthusiastic, interested, attentive, energetic, excited, determined and strong... they reported sleeping better, had increased positive feelings and life satisfaction experiment'.

There have been many studies from various sources and today, there is hard evidence about the huge benefits of gratitude, so why don't you give a little try? It is free :)

IN THREE STEPS:

1) Practice writing the things you are grateful for and really feel that feeling of gratitude in your heart. First thing in the morning or last thing at night are good times.

2) Be very genuine with your gratitude towards the people you love. You can be grateful for what they do and can be grateful to them for simply be in your life and bring you all the love and joy they give you.

3) Practice being grateful towards yourself in the same way that you would be grateful to the people you love. Recognize all the good you do towards yourself and instead of being harsh and critical, give yourself a break and love yourself the way your inner child deserves to be loved!
